Well. I’m on a new pc at work, after much stress. My first Windows XP box AND my first Compaq. At first I was so pleased it is tiny enough to fit on my desk instead of under it (giving me some freaking leg room for a change), but now I realize that when the cd-rom spins up it sounds like a plane taking off over here. Oh well… got a cool new black keyboard and mouse in the deal. Aren’t I 1337?

glad you liked that one. i find it to be a pretty good joke too. I used the same line when discussing the matter with my friend and she thought it was really funny too. I could only imagine what people were thinking of the conversation – i was on the phone in Dollar General picking up dishwashing detergent and was in deep conversation about everything in there. So the “under the sofa, perhaps” reference was made out loud in the store. Again, I am here for everyone’s amusement. Tipping is welcome, just don’t throw change – it hurts.
