FNIS Hawaii office people are here this week… not bothering me, but they have managed to confirm for Jason that he’s going to Hawaii. Paul Hatcher told him he was going “sooner rather than later” and that it frightened him how much sooner. So he’s working overtime trying to get things set up to run without him here.

Found out from Jason that Jonathan and Paul were apparently talking me up to the FNIS guys, in one of those meetings I didn’t have to go to. To quote, he said: “Paul said you were HTML but so much more. You could do just about anything they needed. Then Jonathan said, yeah, she could probably fly around the earth backwards and reverse time if we asked her.” He said the FNIS guys laughed, but he thinks they got the point.

Well, they’re making Angle remove MSN from her computer at work… “bandwidth issues”, and they’ll be doing periodic checks for unauthorized programs. Oh well. She gave me her email, so we can continue our regular spamming that way I guess.

Jimmy’s moving to NC this weekend. Ran a couple errands with him yesterday so we could talk some. He’s like a man possessed. He was so excited at the prospect of this job, and the fact they will be paying for certifications… he plans to spend every moment either working or studying for the time he’s there. Told me he may not make too much time to visit, which I told him was fine with me, since I don’t like him anyway. I made him promise to buy dishes, lest I send him a box of pretty flowery ones. He also swore he would buy at least a pot and pan. We’ll see. He said something about not wanting Maggie to look like a gypsy carrying all her possessions when she came to visit him, just because she might want to cook dinner or something. I really think this is going to be good for him. And hopefuly for Magoo.

I’m looking forward to cheese, even though I dread the thought of resisting the not-allowed food items. Been hard enough this week… turning down ice cream and candy bars and morning donuts and even Red Lobster cheesy-biscuits yesterday. Grumble. *this is me thinking thin*

Oh well.. this is me ignoring work. Better quit that for now.
