“Looks like I picked the wrong day to stop sniffing glue…” – John Heneger

They’ve put the laminate on the countertops they built into a couple offices, and this place reeks of laminate glue. Everyone is making some comment about it as they walk in. I just liked John’s.

Well, it dawned on me this morning where I’d heard that song from Evanescence before… Daredevil, JamesT. I like it.. rip it, dearie.

Egad my allergies are going to kill me in here today with these fumes. I can feel the brain cells dying.

So, it’s Skittle’s b-day party day… looking forward to dinner out. Debated for a really long time about what to get her. Still not totally pleased with them. I guess I’m having a hard time living up to that dream I had where I got her a car.

Well, looks like we are in for Music Midtown afterall… at least a Friday & Saturday’s worth. JT’s family thing is Sunday. His cousin and bf may come in to stay with us for it, too. Never been, so I’m looking forward to it. Okay, so which of you old farts is going to hang out with me when I go see Crosby Stills & Nash on Saturday.. well, I guess that depends on who they’re on against.

Last night went a little better I guess… dinner at Houston’s while we debated Skittle’s gift. Little shopping at the GAP for my brand-snob boyfriend =) … Home in time to watch the last in the Children of Dune miniseries, which I must say, makes me want to read the books again. I remember enjoying the book, Dune, but having a hard time getting through it. Children of Dune & God Emperor of Dune, though, I tore through. I remember telling everyone I knew at the time all about them… yeah, I think this was about seventh grade. Funny how none of those people talk to me anymore.

Oh well… I think I need to get outside for some fresh air before my head explodes. Won’t need to drink tonight, I’ll be high from fumes.
