This mornings rumor…

Did you hear what was on the big board?

Account management meeting took over the conference room right after Lin Little and Camp had their meeting yesterday. On the big board… “close Atlanta office by August 31” …of course, it had been scratched out.

I’m going to fucking kill Billy. Murder. Death. Kill. He is so goddamn frustrating. He is being belligerent to everyone around him, and you know that means me included, lest I wouldn’t be so pissy with him. Something falls off his desk as I walk by his office… note: I’m in the hall walking by, he’s in his office several feet away from me… and he starts cussing me to get my ass back in there and pick up the shit I knocked off. HELLO wasn’t even IN your office. Unless my AURA knocked if off, you’re just a dumb-bass. This isn’t a friendly exchange that ends at that, though. He is pissy. He is still upset and still cussing me and accusing me and he is SERIOUS. It’s just like that crap Jason was telling me that he did in Hawaii. He’s just an ass. Perhaps he thinks he’s trying to be funny, but he’s too stressed to gauge it or something, so he comes across as a Major Ass.

MEANWHILE: I’m in early. I’ve packed a very nice lunch for myself. I had a little breakfast, too. I haven’t had any coffee today. I did abs routine again last night and a little stretching. Definitely need to figure out a good stretching routine for mornings, too. Last night, slept okay, but was full of weird dreams again. Stupid weird… this time all starring work folks. In one, I was trying to poison people at lunch. In another, I was out with a large group of them where we were all going to try a “traditional Hawaiian breakfast” — like I know what that is — but Angela was there, helping show us how to eat the strange things we were brought. Last thing I remember from that dream was Angela greeting her Dad, who had surprise shown up to meet us, too. Like I said. Weirdness.

So, yesterday at our apartment complex (in DeKalb county), a man apparently beat and raped a girl (rumored to be his girlfriend) then ran from police, hiding around on the grounds. Word is they got him. Word is also that he beat her so badly she died at the hospital. I didn’t see anything in the AJC about the incident. Did anybody else?

Well.. I think I will go in for a cup of coffee after all. Need some caffeine to ward off the headache I feel coming on. Heh.. funny how I hit this song, Enemy, then see Bobby walking up in my rear view mirror… to ask the same question he asked on Monday, which I explained on Monday. I tried REALLY hard not to look at him and ask if he’d suffered head trauma since then, but, well.. I guess we’re all stressed out around here. And he was the first one to tell me this mornings rumor.

DUH.. how could I forget to mention this mornings FIRST announcement? Mass emailing: MANDATORY company-wide meeting today. Those out of the office will be required to use the conference call number we have set up. 2:30 PM today. Be there or be square…. or be fired. Hell, be there and be fired. Who knows.
