Happy Birthday, Hawaii boi…

I don’t want to go to work. I’m am dressed and ready, sat down to check morning emails at my desk from home as usual, and have pretty much decided beyond a shadow that I don’t want to be there. Never, none, no no. I have plenty to do, and if I can get my remote access to cooporate with me a little bit this morning, then I’m sure I won’t go in.

Not that I have all these lofty “let’s stay home plans”… just that, I don’t think I can take it. The stress. The hassle. YES, I have shit to do, but no, I’m not going to be able to do it there with the chaos. I’m better off just sitting here working. And perhaps I’ll get some laundry done, too. Yesterday it was so frustrating there, I just went to lunch and didn’t go back. Hard-headed, fuck you all.

I bought luggage yesterday, thanks to mom’s recommendation. Big sale at Sears, it was less than half price, decent 3-pc set for $55. I found shoes to wear with the wedding dress last night, and picked up some hair goodies to try out, too. Still thinking I’ll feel better with the hair down, though. Been trying to wear it up for a while now to make myself get used to it, but.. ugh. Just not happening. James and I are in crazy “let’s talk about what’s going on in a week” mode, probably thanks to his mother, who keeps asking him the stupidest questions… “Do you think you guys can stand each other to be married?” Oh jeez, nah. That piece of paper will probably fuck things up for us. Sure, we get along fine living together for four years… it’ll probably all just go to hell when we get married… I mean.. what kind of answer is she expecting?

Kitty says hi (as she loves all over the keyboard while I try to type this). What’s that, kitty? You want a bath? Now? Sure thing…

Ugh. Okay… ugh. need coffee.
